Captain Chaotica Causes Chaos

The first, original picture of my character, "Captain Chaotica!!" She's a Mobian, in other words the same kind of furries/anthros as from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, but not really, well, _furry_, since she's a hornet. (A yellow jacket, to be precise.) And her name is a combination of the names of the main hero and the main _villian_ from Tom Paris's favourite holodeck program on "Star Trek: Voyager".
No _wonder_ she's a touch confused.

Anyway. Here she is, the original, the one and only--all one foot of her. Six limbs, a ponytail, and about 500 pounds worth of bad attitude. She started off as _just_ an Internet alias, but sort of morphed into a character along the way. (Even if the only story she appears in is unpublished and will probably stay that way.)

And even though this picture _is_ "fanart drawn on lined paper", which, according to SOME people at DeviantArt, puts me into the "dregs" of the community category*, _I_still rather like it.
By the way, this is a black and white photocopy, from when I didn't have a scanner. It was originally in colour, but I can't find that version anywhere now. Oh, well.

*I COULD go into a huge flaming, _seethingly_angry RANT about this comment (which was one of the things said with the "Lesser-Known Artists" Warm Subject--er, I mean, Hot Topic--in my journal, but (a) that would be doing the "use the journal like a blog to be your own personal soapbox to angst and rant about whatever is on your mind in" thing, which I'm just not going to do and (b) hey, this is MY journal we're talking about here. (snort) Like ANYBODY'S ever gonna read it.
All I'll say is--using lined paper does NOT make you a bad person, a bad artist, or, heaven forfend, a "dreg". It means you were busy and got inspired suddenly at a time when you didn't happen to have the world's best art supplies with you, and you _made do_. And then you didn't try to copy it onto a better piece of paper later, 'cos you know that no two pictures of yours ever come out quite the same.
THAT'S what it means. Not that you're bad, or a cheesy, cliche silly doodling teenybopper at school with no real talent or originality. It just means you get inspired at odd times.
