Sorry about the lack of a colon and a space there; I didn't have room. Anyway. I said I was going to start tossing out my cartoon stuff "at random" and here I am, being random. Well, they're in alphabetical order and naturally I'll be skipping ones I've already submitted, but you know what I mean...
ANYway. I drew this young dog-girl shortly after seeing "A Goofy Movie" for the first time and I wondered, when I saw the sweet little couple of Max and Roxanne, what _would_ their kid, if they eventually got married and had one, look like, anyway? I've got this sort of "fun with genetics" streak in me, aka "Let's see what happens when we mix THESE genes together!" I'm not really a breeder or romance type of fanfic writer; I just like to find out what things would come out like _visually_ when mixed together. That part interests me. And with Roxanne's red hair and Max's black fur, I thought it might look kinda neat...
So here we have Alexis Rochelle "Lex" Goof, girl of (dramatic voice) THE FUTURE! Naturally they won't be dressing like that in around 20 years or so, I just dressed her that way as a joke to emphasize the fact that she's from (dramatic voice) THE FUTURE! in a silly way. She's got her mom's hair (and lack of buck teeth), her dad's fur, and her _granddad's_ (Goofy!) tall, scrawny build. Also notice that her first name has an "x" in it, since both of her parents do, and the middle name is another sorta Frenchy sounding name that begins with an "Ro-" and has two syllables.
I wrote up a whole character sheet thingie for her, but it isn't terribly interesting. The highlights are that she likes retro/cheesy clothes, seems dumber than she actually is at times, and tends to get along with everybody until they FORCIBLY don't get along with her. Oh, and she wants to move to St. Canard some day to meet the superheroes and villians there. (laugh)
As a side-note, shortly after I made this character, I then started up a game of SimCity 2000 and named the city "Spoonerville" and the mayor "Lex Goof", for a lark. And then failed miserably within half an hour, of course. I suck at Sim City.
Like it, but despite all the advice, can't so much as get my city to _start off_ on a good strong footing to save my life.
Ah well.

Wow, that bit about SIMCity 2000. Funny you mention that, since I'm making a tileset in the Windows 95 port, ala SCURK, with aid from GIMP and Paint98.
By the way, my SC2K Mayoral Alias is Sigma Skye, after my Inksona. And the Corporation is the Cephalopod Defense Initiative, just as a ref to a faction my Inksona founded in the aftermath of the Octavio Crisis.
