Green Guardian of Strangetown

Hal Jordan, founding member of the Justice League of Simmerica and defender of Sector N002! (Yes, I KNOW it's 2814. In Sims 2, the computer designation for Strangetown, the neighborhood he lives in, is N002. Dumb joke, I know.) In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil in SimCity shall escape his sight...well, except for that vampire who lives down the road, but she's harmless. And the mad scientist across the street. Oh, and that alien dude and his family, but they're Hal's best friends...
(Strangetown is very '50s//60s sci-fi B-movieish to begin with, which is why I moved a Silver-Age style hero into it. Heh.)

Believe it or not, this picture is hardly post-edited at all--I just cranked up the contrast a bit in Infranview. But naturally to get him to look cool and stand in this great pose took some doing! So in the interest of giving credit where it is due...

--The wallpaper, greenish lighting, table, carpet and mask are all Maxis (Nightlife, IKEA Stuff Pack, basegame).
--Green Lantern uniform by The Simlander at ModtheSims.
--Dramatic pose from Synaptic Sim's Posebox: "The Sims Have the POWERRR!" (#18, "Telekinetic 3").
--Hair is the Hero Hair by goatdip90.
--The LANTERNNN (which isn't perfect--but it was VERY hard to find _any_ metal lantern that came in bright green, at all!) was by Fairy Witch as part of her camping collection.
--His little face details (smirk line, cheek hollow) that make him look like 30-something Hal instead of a generic pretty-boy of 19 or so, like your average adult Sim tends to look, were by mistyblue at ModtheSims. (Except for the butt-chin. I tried to look that back up and couldn't find it again.)
--Last but not least, his skin is the Pooklet Ephemera blend I've been using for my default lightest for a while now, and the eyes and eyebrows are also custom but I had just downloaded a lot of both categories when I made this so I forget which ones I used, sorry.

And the Sim of Hal himself (his features and such) was made by...me! Woot.

Just in case any of you superhero fans out there are Simmers and want to have an idea how to make your _own_ butt-kicking fighters against the forces of evil, too.
