Have Saucepan, Will Travel

Ah, my first piece of Kingdom of Loathing fanart! For those of you who don't know KoL...I pity you. It's a very humourous and light-hearted on-line RPG that _won't_ eat up too much of your time, because you're only ALLOWED so many turns per day. And while you can extend that a good bit, you can't do it indefinitely.
I like the game so much I started my own clan within it, "The Marauders of Arcadia" <shameless plug> We don't do much bashing on other people, but if you want goodies, Meat and friendship, this is the place to be. </shameless plug>

Anyway. Enough advertising--this is a picture of my character, Zelynda--in her _first_ incarnation, as a Sauceress--done in my own cartoony style instead of the Kingdom's stick-figure one. Now, in the original game, you can't wear shirts (until just recently and even then, only if you Ascend with a certain sign and as a certain class) but obviously I'd have to put one on a female, so I...made something up. Originally she was going to be wearing JUST the saucepan-lid "breastplates", as a parody off of all those scantily-clad Valkryie maidens you see in fantasy artwork, but then I decided that didn't look too appropriate for a _magic_ user, hence I added the shirt. She is wearing the "frilly skirt" which is an actual piece of armour from the game, and the detached sleeves are because...I felt like it. (They always make me think of the fashions of Skies of Arcadia--Vyse and Fina both have detached sleeves, for example.)

You can't actually have two familiars with you at once, of course, but I just felt like drawing these anyway. Note that nobody really _knows_ what a Grue looks like, so I just made something up. Dark, and with no wings since it has to live underground, but spikes, fangs, and claws, yes. Note that this is a _baby_ one--it'll be much more ferocious looking when it gets bigger. Now, he's just a _cute_ widdle fing. Awww.
We were actually past the Dank and and Dark and Sinister cave by the time I got little Morrissey, too, but I just thought that sounded nicely dramatic and silly.
