...have I been here before?
Zelynda, Version 2.0! Back as a Pastamancer and better than ever, bay-bee. I changed her outfit--it's a bit more cleric/White Mage now than sorcoress/wizard (and has a definite, deliberate Final Fantasy vibe--I meant that in a "take-off", or parody sense)--but the colours remain the same. I decided that every time I draw Zelynda, she'll have the same hair and eye colours and as close as I can get to the same features, even if the hairSTYLE changes radically, and that her outfits will always be blue with white trim. Why? It helps tie things together and make continuity, or something.
Anyway. Notice the pasta-spoon "magic amulet" and the collander being used as a "shield"! Heh. (That bloody collander took FOREVER to draw, too.) Mesca, the Baby Gravy Fairy is with her in this one since that's the familiar I chose to take with me when I Ascended.
Incidentally, her colouring happens to be my own. I didn't _intend_ to make the character sort of look like a fantasy version of me, but when I tried to give her the colouring of the _orginal_ Zelynda, the one from my old, old fantasy stories, it just didn't...work, with the rest of the picture, on the first one. (She's a flaming redhead, the original, and it was just too bright for dark, spooky "cave" type lighting.) And so then when I went to draw a second picture of her, the colouring had to stay the same way. Oh, well.

Collander XD. Kudos to ya CC, I seriously am beginning to wish I could do backgrounds now because you're giving me ideas. In my next attempt I'm definately gonna include a familiar myself. It's a good idea.
