Lemming: Evolution--Part 1

Description

Way back when, when I was first becoming an actual _fan_ of the "Lemmings" games rather than just kinda sorta casually liking them, I came up with an idea: "What about an actual character who is one of these things, an individual?
And what it it was...(gasp!) a GIRL?"

And so, Emma the Lemming was born. (Note that this was _before_ Lomax, so when I made up Emma, there weren't any canon Lemming characters out there, as far as I'm aware.) In these four pictures, I'm going to take you through her evolution from random idea resulting in a scribble one day, to fully developed character with personality and background--whether you like it or not! Wait, that didn't sound right...

Anyway. This first picture technically _is_, as I'm sure you've already noticed, a Scrap. But if I put it in that gallery it won't be matched up with the other parts of the set and the full "evolution" won't be properly visible. (Now, watch the people who run the site go stick it in my scrapbook anyway...)
This was done on a piece of scratch-paper, the only thing I had available at the time. But all of Emma's main features are still there--her goofy, happy-go-lucky attitude, most elements of her outfit (a jumpsuit instead of a robe, high gloves, work boots, tool belt) and the accessories of _several_ different tasks you can give Lemmings in the games, in one person: A bomb for bomer, a rope for climbing (or other tasks), a backpack like what the Builders wear, etc. Emma isn't one of the ones who stays back behind the Blocker and waits until the level is clear. She's a _Worker_ Lemming. :)

I remember you putting all these up on your site! I still have it bookmarked!

I think that if there's a good reason to keep this out of scraps (like, for showing an evolution), they won't bother you about it.
