The Fool

From Discworld, again...this is a picture of "The Fool" from the book Wyrd Sisters, feeling miserable. The setting here is supposed to be somewhere in the Lancre castle kitchens. This picture originally started off as me trying to draw the cartoon version of the character (from the animated miniseries version of this book) but by the time I was done, his appearance and outfit had been changed a good deal. At any rate, I'm fairly happy with this picture--I like the way the overall mood turned out. (And yes, it _is_ on lined paper. Oh, hush, it's what I had with me at the time. )
