Thing from the Emerald Coastby ~Captain-Chaotica

I wanted to call it the _Creature_ from the Emerald Coast, as a parody off the Creature from the Black Lagoon, but stupid letter limit on titles...I was only missing the last "t". Emerald Coas.

ANYway. In case you're wondering if I've gone off my rocker (those of you who know me well wouldn't be alarmed by this picture though; I draw much weirder things pretty often), no, I haven't...this was drawn for
Topaz Mutiny's contest about "Create a Mutant". Well, challenge, really. I don't think I have much chance of winning the actual contest here at DA, but I don't care that much...I drew this for fun.

For those of you who are wondering, this is Amy Rose Hedgehog, crossed with a...fish of some kind. I was going for an angelfish or something else with big, graceful, flowy fins. Okay, so the fins look stiff, but the whole picture has a certain flow and lightness to it, and she looks fishy while still kinda looking like Amy. Which is all I was going for, so fine by me!

I have no idea why I thought of this, actually...it just came to me. Amy seems to be the Sonic character I have the most fun drawing, come to think of it. I have cross-overed and parodied her so many times..

Let's see...(counts) Including crossovers, alternate versions, etc. I think I've drawn her in some form or another ten times, now. And that's not including little informal sketches of random characters that I sometimes doodle in the margins of things. She's just fun for me to draw, evidently.
